Things I Found On Google #13

Simpsons Sites:

Quimby 2000 (created for the 2000 US election)
Mr. X's Web Page
What Badgers Eat
Dorks Gone Wild
Springfield Is For Gay Lovers Of Marriage

This last site struck me as a definite PG, but you can view it here: Link (not recommended for children)

In some Simpsons episodes, you may see a reference to a website. Some of those websites are real. All of these are created by the Simpsons crew. Just like if you send a message to Homer's e-mail, (chunkylover53@aol.com) you actually can see real content. My favorite would have to be the Mr. X home page.

Note: Some of the sites timed out, but me be up later. This site has screenshots and descriptions of each site.

Things I Found On Google #12

YouOS

YouOS is an online operating system. You can access from anywhere, so you can start a document in Kentucky, and finish it in Paris. No cost to use. You can also use the bulit-in sharing. It's just like goowy, but far better.

Trip

Hey everyone. Today I'm going on a trip to Charlotte. It's going to be a 3 hour long drive, so I'll see if I can post. More news in Charlotte.

Things I Found On Google #11

Grafedia

Chances are, you've probably seen graffiti sometime during your life. Graffiti is sometimes annoying, and can be hard to remove. Well then, how about Grafedia? Grafedia is hyperlinked text written onto physical surfaces that links to media content - images, video, sound files, etc. It can be written anywhere. Postcards, tattoos, sidewalks, walls, anywhere! People send a message addressed to the world + @grafedia.net to get the content.

How do you make it?
Step 1. Choose a word.
Step 2. Send a media file to that word + "@grafedia.net" from your cell phone. For example, desktop@grafedia.net
Step 3. Write that word anywhere in the world in blue with an underline, like this. Then, viewers can retrieve the file. You can always upload from your computer here.

Here's one I did: desktop@grafedia.net

Future Me

Future Me is a website where you can write messages, that will sent to you whenever you want in the future. Use it for reminders, notes, our to just remember your past self. I tried one myself. I'll see it on July 1st, 2010.

Camp

Sorry I haven't posted the last couple days. I've been at Movie Makers camp. We got to make a superhero movie. The irony is that I hate superheros, but love to act. The script wasn't really good, but it was good enough. Also, today we made cement stones in memory of our cat, Rabbit. I have a ton of cool websites, so I'll try and post everyday.
